Welcome to Future Footprints

Welcome to Future Footprints

Future Footprints is a local family owned and operated multidisciplinary therapy hub. Established in 2011 by Eszter Agocs, Future Footprints delivers a range of individual, group and intensive programs.

We provide a colourful, fun, family-oriented environment where we deliver developmental / conductive education and other allied health programs (such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy and music therapy) to assist people with various disabilities to achieve their full potential.

At Future Footprints, we take a holistic approach to participants’ needs, taking into account their gross and fine motor skills, cognitive abilities, communication levels and their individual personalities.

We believe that fun and enjoyment is the best motivation to sustain the hard work required to achieve growth, learning and independence. When you choose Future Footprints, you become part of a friendly community of professionals and families who are all focussed on supporting participants to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Children love the fun of Future Footprints, enjoying the brightly coloured equipment and the engaging personalities of our educators, conductors and therapists, while parents and caregivers are made to feel welcome and encouraged to participate.

Mission statement

Mission statement

Future Footprints aims to teach those with developmental disabilities to reach beyond what is expected, motivating them to improve, to achieve and to gain independence, socially, physically and cognitively.

While Australia has the lowest rates of Cerebral Palsy, approximately 1 in 700 children live with the Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral Palsy can occur through injury or through developmental issues and affects muscle control, motor skills, and or oral function. Fortunately, there are a range of therapies available to promote independence and community inclusion for people with Cerebral Palsy.

Our mission at Future Footprints is to improve the quality of life for people who live with Cerebral Palsy, Dyspraxia, Autism, and Acquired Brain Injury. We offer an individualized, holistic approach which incorporates a wide range of therapies specifically tailored to the explicit needs and abilities of our clients.

Our organization provides a holistic approach, with a wide range of therapies tailored to each individual’s specific needs and abilities, taking into consideration such factors as the degree of motor skills, cognitive and communication abilities, as well as the personality of our patients.

A strong focus of our work is Conductive Education (CE) which is a method of learning that combines medical knowledge with educational techniques that encourage children to accomplish actions that children learn naturally through life experiences and typical development. Conductive Education therapy enhances aspects of functionality including physical activity, communication, cognitive competence, and social interactions which all enhance and enrich quality of life for clients.

Future Footprints is a multidisciplinary service provider offering Developmental Education, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Hydrotherapy to increase independence and social interactions of clients. Our team of dedicated and experienced therapists believe that having fun is the key to learning and achieving client goals. Children enjoy undertaking sensory therapy and play therapy in the bright, interesting environment of our Adelaide centre.

Our team of dedicated and experienced educators, therapists, and conductors put great value in the environment in which they perform their roles and believe that fun is the key to achieving the levels of hard work required for progress to be made. Children enjoy the bright, interesting surroundings in which they and their parents or caregivers can undertake sensory therapy and play therapy at our Adelaide centre.

Cerebral Palsy support services are only one of the many services offered by Future Footprints in Adelaide. We also have expertise around autism and ADHD and can offer a comprehensive range of therapies for clients. We can also offer advice and strategies for parents and caregivers to use at home and we also promote shared experiences and knowledge between caregivers.

Living with disabilities can often lead to a sense of isolation, but our Cerebral Palsy alliance in Adelaide offers a perspective from which common experiences can be shared and learned from, bringing a greater understanding of how to achieve an improved quality of life.
