A Therapy Assistant can support your child to practice the skills they learn in therapy and apply these throughout their daily life, whether at home, school or out in the community. All of our Therapy Assistants are in their final year of study towards a degree (either OT or DE), work in collaboration with a qualified therapist to implement a tailored treatment plan to support your child to work towards their unique goals.
What is a Therapy Assistant and how can they help me and my Child?
Future Footprints Therapy Assistant’s are in their final year of study towards a degree (either OT or DE), and works under the supervision of our qualified therapists. They can support your Child to practice the skills they need to learn in therapy and apply these throughout their daily life, whether at home, school or out in the community.
Therapy Assistants can play a variety of roles based on you and your Childs unique needs and therapy/NDIS goals. They can travel to school, home, or see your child in at FF.
