Welcome to Future Footprints Kids Yoga – Movement, Mindfulness, and Joy

At FF Kids Yoga, we create a safe and joyful space where children can explore movement, breath, and mindfulness through fun and engaging yoga practices. In an increasingly fast-paced world, yoga offers children not just physical benefits, but emotional, cognitive, and social support as well. Our classes are designed to nurture confidence, calm, focus, and body awareness—helping children feel more balanced both inside and out.

About Me

My name is Gabriella Czar-Juhasz and I bring over 20 years of experience as a Paediatric therapist, kindy and primary age educator, Conductive Education specialist, and Developmental Educator, with a rich background in international work across the field of child development. Specialised in neurological and genetic disorders, developmental delays, disabilities, and learning difficulties. Throughout my career, I have always sought the most effective, yet accessible tools to support children, not only in overcoming physical challenges, but also in nurturing their emotional and mental wellbeing.

When I discovered yoga and mindfulness for children, it felt like a natural and beautiful extension of my therapeutic work. Yoga offers everything I was looking for and more: it supports regulation, builds resilience, enhances learning, improves physical, motor skill and creates space for joy and connection. I am passionate about making yoga a rich, developmentally supportive journey, one that welcomes children of all ages, abilities, and needs. With my background in paediatric therapy, I design classes that are not only fun but tailored to support individual growth, self-expression, and confidence.

  • Why Yoga and Mindfulness for children?Yoga and mindfulness offer an engaging way for children to connect with their bodies, breath, and emotions. Through age-appropriate movement, breathing techniques, visualisation, and creative play, children learn how to:
    • Develop strength, balance, and flexibility
    • Improve concentration and attention span
    • Build emotional awareness and self-regulation
    • Reduce stress and anxiety
    • Foster a positive self-image and sense of inner calm
    • Enhance social skills through cooperative games and shared practice

Yoga is inclusive, non-competitive, and can be adapted for all learning styles and developmental stages, making it ideal for young minds and bodies in all walks of life.

Supporting Diverse Needs

Yoga and mindfulness can be especially beneficial for children with learning differences, sensory processing challenges, and neurodiverse conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, or developmental delays.

For these children, yoga offers:

  • Predictable structure and routines that provide comfort and safety
  • Sensory input through movement and breath that supports regulation
  • Opportunities to improve body awareness, coordination, and spatial understanding
  • Mindfulness tools that help reduce overwhelm and improve focus
  • Gentle ways to connect with others without pressure

With my clinical background in paediatrics, I bring both sensitivity and expertise in adapting yoga practices to suit children’s individual needs. Each class is thoughtfully planned to encourage participation, boost confidence, and build life skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Let’s help children grow stronger, calmer, and more connected to themselves and the world around them.
Whether your child is looking for a fun way to move, needs a space to unwind, or is working through specific challenges, Future Footprints Kids Yoga welcomes them with open arms.
