Preschool Boost

We’re excited to be part of South Australia’s Preschool Boost Program!

Future Footprints is proud to be selected as a service provider for the Preschool Boost Program—a new initiative supporting the growth and development of preschool-aged children across South Australia.

Through this program, we’ll walk alongside children, families, and educators to strengthen emotional wellbeing, sensory-motor development, and readiness for lifelong learning. Our support is grounded in neuroaffirming, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed practice, and integrates naturally into everyday preschool life.

A holistic, wraparound approach

Support will be delivered through a flexible, multi-tiered model that includes whole-of-preschool strategies, small group sessions, and targeted one-on-one support where needed. Our experienced team includes:

  • Developmental Educators who bring a practical, whole-child lens to supporting children’s independence, participation, and inclusion across all settings.
  • Physiotherapists who use their deep understanding of child development and movement to support gross motor skills, posture, strength, and physical confidence.
  • Allied Health Professionals who co-design and deliver engaging, relationship-based experiences that build foundational developmental skills in ways that are playful and meaningful.

Strengthening the village

We believe in building the capacity of the whole community around a child. Through coaching, modelling, and collaborative planning, we work closely with educators and families to embed developmentally supportive strategies that last well beyond our time together.

Expected outcomes

This support will promote:

  • Physical health and wellbeing – by building coordination, fine and gross motor skills, and increasing children’s ability to participate in daily routines with growing independence.
  • Emotional maturity – by supporting children to name, express, and regulate their emotions, and by strengthening their resilience and coping skills.
  • Social competence – through supported opportunities for peer connection, turn-taking, cooperative play, and relationship-building.
  • Independence – across all domains, helping children feel confident, capable, and ready to thrive in their learning and social environments.

We’re looking forward to walking this journey with South Australian preschools, creating strong foundations for every child’s future.
